Web Links
World Radio History
Mainly Radio orientated but lots of Electronics mags as well.
INDiceretro
A Spanish language website dealing with Commodore preservation with other computers thrown in as well. Plenty of mags in Spanish? Take the time to understand and get used to the layout though!! Of course godane has probably leeched this site as well to get his ratio up over at Archive.org but again, try and support the little guys alright?
Video Games Densetsu
Not a full magazine preservation site, but the author takes images from several articles from different books and magazines and writes a history article around it. It's especially helpful because its focused mostly on Japanese content.
Bombjack.org
David Haynes "All things for Commodore Users" website has branched out to cover a myriad other systems as well. While I believe our scans are better he has more so a win-win for visiting both sites. Also includes scanned manuals for software, hardware etc so consider it the World of Spectrum equivalent for the Commodore series of home computers
World of Spectrum
More of a "Let's have everything ever created created for the Spectrum series of home computer" kind of site with software, manuals, cassette inlays and yes, plenty of mags from the 1980s' in there too. The only negative is that most scans were produced by Mort in the late 80's so the quality simply isn't up to the standards of mags at sites like this one. Scanners are way better nowadays but if they have what you are looking for and you can handle the quality then she's a pretty good site indeed!! godane has probably already ripped these guys off and put their content on Archive.org anyway but really, support the little guys rather than those Archive tossers!!
OoPA
The sole member of that website outputs amazingly good content but at a hideously slow pace. If you ever thought OGM was slow think again!! If you can stand the generally glacial movement though then head on over. Absolutely no negatives on the quality that's for sure!! But where has the forum gone? Is that a sign things aren't well over there?
Retromags
A great site for USA based magazines like Nintendo Power, EGM and GamePro. However, they also have godane, a total dick whose willy is firmly planted up Jason (Archive.org) Scott's back passage so some of us who were members there for over a decade have moved to slightly less soiled pastures. If you have no history with him though by all means give it a try.....
Internet Archive
If you want crappy scans and loads of them then this is the place to go. With staff members also paid to rip off other sites like ours along with a total disregard for authors of novels livelihoods etc this is THE biggest piracy site in existence. Piratebay you say? Pfft!!! They don't hold a candle to this site. Morals are left at the front door when you enter!!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention these guys pay godane to snot on other sites by pilfering their scans!! So it's a double whammy on the dirty tactics front from this crowd!!
