Thanks to Hubz issues 01 - 05 of Famitsu are now available.

Famitsu issue's 02, 03 & 04 have been pulled. I have been collecting Famitsu's from Hubz IA page and other sites including Retromag's. As I saw he had uploaded those issues at IA I assumed I got them from there when trawling through my 3rd party scans directory. I am downloading his original issues now and will replace the offending files as soon as possible.

Note: I am not denigrating Retromags or their content in any way, say or form. I just believe they should have their files hosted there just as I prefer we host our own here.

Hubz has scanned the original content so those are the ones I wish to have here albeit at 300dpi. 600dpi file sizes are just INSANE!!

Thanks to Hubz we have five issues of a magazine I've been keen to get my hands on for years.

Play Meter is a title aimed at amusement vendors ,e.g, arcade operators and the like.

These issues pre-date arcade machines as most younger people know them. Pong was new and most arcade machines were mechanical in nature. Oldies like myself actually played games like Atari's Anti-Aircraft and Midway's Wheels in department stores like Farmers Trading Co which had a rest and leisure area on the top floor of the building in Hobson Street. Many an hour was spent up there while Mum was downstairs shopping for tea towels and such like. Great times long gone sadly!!

PlayStation Pro, under a new name PS Pro from issue 47 onwards, gets a look in next with Nipedley providing us with issues 47, 50, 51 and 52.

A further five issues of Play Meter have been added to the download area thanks to Hubz.....
